Alena Pfeifer

Alena is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Medical Illustration at the Department of Medical Illustration at Augusta University. Coming from a family of medicine, she has witnessed firsthand the impact that science and healthcare have on her community. She is passionate about continuing this impact through her illustration skills and biomedical knowledge.

With previous education in the Biological Sciences and proficient in traditional, 2D, and 3D art, she enjoys creating effective visuals for both the scientific and medical communities. She aims to advance both fields, whether it be illustrating complex surgical procedures from direct OR observation, designing medical simulation models for training, to creating beneficial patient education materials. Alena values improving the wellbeing of others through the bridge of art and science.
